To the Women and Hollywood community,
We want to make you aware and invite you to be a part of one of our projects, the Girls Club — a global community for women-identifying creatives, culture-changers, and story-tellers to connect, create, network, advocate, support, and redefine entertainment.
In the Girls Club you can connect one-on-one with other members; there is a peer-to-peer pitch practice space and a “screening room” where members can share their films. There are also writers and directors groups — each with regular chat events for members to support and learn from one another — and unique conversations with female creatives that enable community interactions.
Guests for our conversations have included: writer/director Sally Potter; “Self Made” director DeMane Davis; “Homeland” director/executive producer Lesli Linka Glatter; “Mrs. America” director Amma Asante; Gurinder Chadha (“Bend It Like Beckham”); Gina Prince-Bythewood (“The Old Guard”); Catherine Hardwicke (“Twilight”); documentary legend Barbara Kopple; multi-media artist and filmmaker Miranda July, director Julie Taymor; producer Christine Vachon; and actor/director Robin Wright.
Our goal is to create a safe community where like-minded people can work, create, and learn from each other. This January, you can join for $89.99/year (a 10% discount from the usual price) -- or the equivalent in the currency of your country at the time you sign up.
